No Internet

Day 8:

Today is the last day for me for Christmas break and I'm happy it had finally come. Hopefully it snows more because a green Christmas isn't really a Christmas. It's always better to have snow on the ground during Christmas..it just makes it more of a holiday. One disappointment is not being able to watch Christmas movies online like i usually do every year, although i have the Grinch on VCR so that's nice.

Day 7:

I started watching the walking dead on Netflix because i heard it was a good show. Somehow i only have 5 episodes on it though, so i think i need to update my Netflix. It very good so far but I'm only a couple episodes into the series. I also put up my Christmas tree a couple days ago and put up some lights outside. So far there is a couple presents under my tree but I'm going shopping for more soon so that's something to do. I hate shopping....

Day 6:

I'm finally done my Stargate Atlantis series and it was a really good show. Now I'm stuck with trying to load Netflix on really slow Internet and it sucks...a lot. But it is better then nothing. I can always re-watch cars 2 again along with Thor, but u can only watch the same movie so many times before it gets boring.

Day 5:

It's been roughly two weeks since my Internet went out and I'm almost done my series of Stargate Atlantis. It was a good series and I'm sad that it is pretty much over. Soon Christmas is coming and I'll have Internet by then. Then i can watch netflix and you tube again. I didn't enjoy having to stop in the middle of my series on netflix. It's called numbers and two brothers work at a detective agency solving crimes with math. I never knew math could do so much in solving crimes but it's cool to see how they find criminals that way.

Day 4:

I found out i'm able to connect to my neighbours internet. Now i can atleast do some stuff so it's helpful. Sadly it only works for roughly 2 hours but i guess it's better than nothing. Another bad thing is im almost done my stargate atlanis series, i'm on the second last season. Once thats gone i dont know what else i can watch. I guess there is always the movies i have, but most i have seen at least twice.

Day 3

Without internet is going quite well. I've finished most of my school projects at school because i know i cant do them at home anymore so im more focused now. Plus im getting into more of my old games that i never really play anymore like borderlands, i really only liked it when i played with friends but it's actually good when i play solo. Sadly i;m even playing my Wii again.

Day 2:

Last night i caught up on sleep for once so it was nice. It sucks without internet at home because i cant work on any online project for school, only because i dont have Microsoft programs on my computer. I finished my jericho series too which was only 2 seasons but it was a great show, i recommed watching it.

Day 1:

We never realize how much we use the internet, but when it's gone you really notice it. I used internet to watch netflix, play games, go on facebook, and to watch youtube. My internet went out yesterday and i've decided to document my days without it untill it comes back on. Last night i watched Jerico. It is a T.V that i had downloaded along with Stargate Atlantis.  Jerico is about a town that survives a terroist attack through-out the united states. They fight rival towns for food and resources to survive. I also played a couple games like Need for speed and Minecraft since i dont need the internet for them. It's wasent too bad but it wont be fun for a month since that is when ill have internet back.

Intro

My name is Nick. I am 17 yrs old, my birthday is october 8, 1995 and i'm in grade 12. I was born and raised in a small town in Ontario. So far the furthest i've travelled was to Calgary, Alberta. When i was there my dad took me to see the Calgary Tower.

It is a really tall building but not as tall as the CN Tower in Toronto( i have been there when i was 9). I felt sick in it because there is a glass floor people can walk on and i decided to go on it and look down(bad choice). Let's just say i didn't stand on it for long but it was awesome to try.

I was only in calgary for a week but got to see alot of things like the tower. I'd definatly go back if i had the chance but maybe in a couple years.
